	VBNF - Burnaby Chapter Meeting

	Please join us with many of our guests at the VBNF – Burnaby Chapter Networking meeting.

	Honorable Peter Julian, Member of Parliament for Burnaby will be our special guest for the evening.

Dear VBNF Members and Colleagues:

We had a big success on our opening night for the VBNF – International chapter. Over 100 guests attended. I would like to thank our co-hosts; Michael Lyons and Mark Mensing for letting us use their facilities. We had so much fun and good time, excellent food and drinks, thanks to our sponsors, University of Phoenix and Domino Pizza.

Many of our members exhibited their products. They are: Netfone, Webnet, Minuteman Press of South Vancouver, Jobline Canada, Abraxas the First Canadian Barter Exchange, Coast Mountain Marketing, University of Phoenix, Business In Vancouver and CMY Designs.

Thanks to our MLA, Mr. Richard Lee who delivered a message about our economy and our Provincial Taxation improvements to reduce PST. We would also like to thank the Chinese Consulates, Burnaby Board of Trade, the Chinese Business associations (too Many to name) and our members and friends who attended the event.

Thanks to our staffs, especially: Tony, Nelson, Enn, Shulan, Perry, Katherine, Tim, Christine and Rhian of the Canada Export Centre who helped to make this event so successful. Great Job Done!

Many of the members took advantage of the special membership offer and signed up as paid members. Good for you and you will be happy to do so as we have many new initiatives to bring out that can help you market your business more successfully. We are now in talk with other business groups to extend our reach to their members. We will increase the number of our members and affiliated partners so you can reach to the business people that you were not able to do before.

Many of our members could not make it to the meeting on Dec 7 and asked if we can extend the membership special. Of course, we will extend the membership special until the end of the year. Please do come to the meeting and sign up.
