This workshop will focus on cultural issues associated with marketing in the North American context. Through a brief presentation followed by a workshop where issues such as values, behaviours, language, and economics are examined through case study, participants will acquire a better understanding of the key cultural factors in producing successful strategies for the North American marketplace.

Featured Speaker: Dr. Albert Wong
Dr. Albert Wong is the Campus College Chair, Graduate Business and Management at University of Phoenix 's Vancouver campus. As an independent consultant, Dr. Wong worked with corporations of varying sizes on projects that include business and marketing strategies, information technology, and project management.  Dr. Wong has also held various senior management positions with Scotia Bank in research, marketing, branch development, decision support and financial systems. Dr. Wong has a Ph.D. in Statistics and an M.Sc. in Mathematics.
