VBNF Mini Seminars

|
At each VBNF meeting, we will feature one to two keynote speakers, each will have 15 – 20 minutes to talk about a specified topic that will help our members succeed. Our speakers are professionals in their own field who would like to share their experience with you. We encourage our members to volunteer to be a speaker. Of course, VBNF will reserve the right to schedule the seminars and the topics to be presented. VBNF also encourages our Mini Seminar speakers to prepare the script of the presentation so we can put on the website for the members who were not able to make it to the meeting.
Mini seminars can turn into full courses if there is the demand for it. VBNF will facilitate each full course seminar. There will a seminar fee for the students, mainly to cover the expenses of the speaker and the use of the facilities.

Want to be a speaker for a mini Seminar
|

|
| |
To be a speaker for a mini Seminar at VBNF, you will gain recognition of your experience and acknowledgement from the audience. VBNF wants to help professionals to gain exposure from our members or the public who may refer their friends or business associates to the subject matter experts from the VBNF’s keynote speakers.
To be a keynote speaker, you have to be an active VBNF member and have the extensive knowledge in your field of expertise. VBNF has a panel of experts who will screen your proposal before you are selected to be a keynote speaker. As the number of interested speakers is quite large, we will schedule our speakers according to the topic for the presentation. That means we will not run similar topics within a certain of period.
As a keynote speaker, you are there to share your expertise and knowledge to the VBNF audience so they can learn about the topic of discussion. VBNF do not endorse any Sales speech at the seminars. Please be professional and try not to promote your services at the seminar.
As this is a mini seminar, there may not be enough time for the whole topic. We would ask you to make your speech cover the general ideas and let the audience contact you for detail at their convenience. If the response is enormous, a full seminar may be required. VBNF will arrange the seminar for you and it will be a paid seminar where audience is required to pay for the admission to the seminar. VBNF will take a percentage from the tuition towards our expenses for marketing and the seminar facility.

Each speaker is also asked to send us a brief summary of their bibliography and his/her picture so we can post on the Newsletter and the white paper.
